ePROM
Choosing between Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) and Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) is traditionally made by the heart team—cardiologists and surgeons—without formally including the patient's preferences.
This study introduces a digital platform for Patient Reported Outcome and Experience Measures (ePROMs & ePREMs) to help tailor decisions to each patient’s values and expectations.
Study Highlights:
- Goal: Evaluate whether pre-procedure ePROMs can predict outcomes and guide treatment choices aligned with patient preferences
- Participants: 500 adults with significant 1- or 2-vessel disease involving the LAD
- Secondary Goal: Track how often clinical decisions align with patient-reported priorities and understand reasons for divergence
This approach aims to make coronary care more personalized, informed, and patient-centered.
