Using national data, we've identified key IVF patient subgroups in the Netherlands at heightened risk for ventricular arrhythmias (VAs), including those with mitral valve abnormalities, SCVF, and inherited arrhythmia syndromes.
Ongoing research aims to:
- Expand international collaboration for better risk prediction
- Deepen insights into ICD therapy and complications
- Improve identification of high-risk subgroups like SCVF
- Explore genetic predisposition through large-scale GWAS
- Enhance risk stratification in patients with mitral valve disease and their families
Goal:
Earlier identification, better protection, and improved outcomes for at-risk individuals.
